What are your standard sizes?
Our standard sizes for our Asset Labels are 30mm x 15mm, 40mm x 20mm and 50mm x 20mm, as these have proven the most popular over time. However, we are able to produce our Asset Labels, and any other types of labels fully customised, at any size or shape that you may require! Other types of labels may be; Promotional Labels, Cable Labels, Logo Labels, Calibration/Test Labels, Paper Labels, Barcode Labels and even Fascia’s/Machine Membranes – contact us now for a bespoke quotation.
Which barcode type is best for me?
We can produce any type of barcoding that you may require, all included as standard on our Asset Labels, and all can be produced onto any type of label that we produce. Code 39 & 128 Barcodes are deemed as standard across most industries and can contain small amounts of numeric & alphanumeric information (such as an asset number, for example CL0001). We can also offer EAN-13 barcodes which are standard in most retail environments. QR & Data-Matrix Codes can contain a larger amount of data (such as a URL linking to a webpage, or a spreadsheet). These types of codes offer higher density and act as a quick method of accessing large amounts of information.
What are your lead times?
This does depend completely upon the type of label required, and also the size of the order. However, we do generally aim to turn most orders around in just three working days! All new orders need their respective artworks approved via Signable; this is our online portal enabling you to electronically sign off on the design before the order is produced, avoiding any potential errors.
What is the difference between your adhesives on the Ultimate Asset Tag
The Ultimate Asset Tag is our most durable option available, with a specification that is close to that of a metal tag. It is available with three different industry standard adhesives, all carrying the well-known 3M brand name. The first is 3M 467 which is suitable for smooth surfaces, such as plastics. The second is 3M 468 which is suitable for rough and textured surfaces. We also offer 3M 300LSE which is perfect for materials that have a low surface energy.
What are your payment terms?
All new customers (apart from government, NHS or educational establishments) are expected to pay upfront on their first order, and they can then apply for a net 30-day account when they come to re-order. We accept payment by credit or debit card over the telephone, and also via a bank transfer.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Due to the various types of materials, sizes of label and processes that we offer this can vary depending on your needs, it may be you only require one label this would fall under our minimum order value of £35.00 (this may exclude artwork and delivery costs).
Which Asset Label is best for me?
This will depend on the application and what you are looking for the label to do:
We have two security products: our Ultra-Destruct Vinyl Asset Label is tamper-proof and impossible to remove in one attempt; there is also our tamper-evident VOID Polyester Asset Label, which leaves a ‘VOID’ print behind if removal is attempted.
If you are looking for something more durable, then you will need to look at our two laminated options: our 3M Polyester Laminated Asset Tag has a thick glossy finish, whereas our UltraTuff Asset Tag has a matt/textured finish which has a greater resistance to scratches.
If you are looking for the most durable tag available then you need look no further than our Ultimate Asset Tag. We print digital ink on the under the surface of a thick 250-micron base polycarbonate material, making it impossible to damage without excessive force. This is then finished with a choice of industry standard 3M adhesives.
