Overview
The 3M™ Polyester Metallised Laminated Asset Tag is manufactured from a high-performance metallised polyester coated with a thin metallised layer. The tag is then over-laminated with a durable high-gloss polyester to provide resistance to heavy abrasion and is chemical and solvent-resistant.
This product is a visually metallised tag and not a solid metal tag. If you require a tag that can withstand extremes of temperature and excels long-term in outdoor environments similar to that of a solid metal tag then please look at our Ultimate Asset Tag™ here.
The Standard 3M™ Polyester tags contain a fixed ‘Asset Tag DO NOT REMOVE’ header text, if you require custom header text please choose our Customisable 3M™ Polyester tags product here.

3M™ Polyester Metallised Laminated Asset Tag
The permanent 3M™ adhesive provides a strong bond to all surfaces once cured. The high gloss laminate prevents chemical, water or UV damage allowing the asset tags to be wiped over with no effect on the ability to scan the bar code.
These Asset Tags are an ideal replacement for expensive aluminium tags !
Available in 8 standard colours as well as black only, the asset labels are a proven solution to identifying everything from laptops, tablets, cameras and computers as well as tools and other portable equipment.
We manufacture the labels in 3 standard sizes. The asset tags can incorporate a number or bar code with all the most popular bar code types available although CODE 39 used if no other code type is specified.
Labels are manufactured on rolls of 1000 where possible.
