Belfast City Airport has recently completed work on upgrades to a new luxury departure lounge.

The work includes improvements to the main halls including new ergonomic furniture which is commonly seen in workspaces. Hubs have also be installed with digital device ports, enhanced lighting and more private seating options.

The investment from Alpha Group follows the success of recent brand partnerships at some of the world’s largest airports. Made.com taking an entire gate area at Schiphol Airport and IKEA launching pop-up showrooms at Charles de Gaulle Airport and Beijing International Airport.

“The Alpha Hub provides an excellent showcase of the type of furniture we offer and is a good example of how we can bring a space to life.” Paul Black, chief executive of the Alpha Group

Cliona Arthur, media sales manager at Belfast City Airport also stated: “The Alpha Group’s experiential luxury seating hub will further strengthen the comfort and convenience we provide for our passengers and will be the perfect fit for our airside environment.”

Custom Labels UK recently produced an asset label order for Belfast Airport. Due to the nature of an airport environment, the labels needed to be extremely durable.

Custom Labels Ultimate asset label was chosen due to its ability to stand up to harsh environments and is UV, chemical, saltwater, abrasion-resistant and can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +160°C. The tag can be applied to textured/rough surfaces and is laminated with a photo-quality gloss clear polycarbonate.

We offer the Ultimate asset tag with both an under-surface printed 250-micron semi-rigid gloss or textured polycarbonate combined with a choice of three high performing adhesives, which provides ultimate durability.
