Custom Labels Ltd was founded in 1997 in Bridgwater, Somerset as a small printing business dedicated to printing adhesive labels. Over time and with increased productivity and large investment in machinery and workforce, it has grown to become a much larger business. Custom Labels specialise in industrial labels including asset, electrical test, security, warranty and void, but as the name suggests- Custom Labels can print any label required.

A local employer
Still situated in Bridgwater, and employing a local workforce, (including apprentices from Bridgwater and Taunton College) Custom Labels Ltd continues to grow. It has recently moved to new purpose-built premises with excellent transport links to the M5. It has dedicated offices, a graphic design suite, printing areas and a designated packing and dispatch area. This new unit ensures that every aspect of label printing can be done ‘in house’ on one site.

The best labels are always produced from the highest quality artwork. At Custom Labels, our graphic design team can assist by creating, altering or improving artwork to meet your approval. Our senior designer has experience in logo creation and branding should you require a complete set-up.
Clear charges
When you haven’t ordered labels before the costs can soon add up with extras for plates, set up, cutters and design changes as well as delivery and presentation options (singles, sheets etc). To clarify this we will detail the following in our quotations.
1.Artwork – where possible we would not charge for this if a basic design/logo is supplied. We would put a small charge in for a complete design layout and logo creation.
2.Tooling – where it is economic we will print digitally but on longer runs or certain materials, a printing plate may be required.
3.Cutters – We have an extensive range of cutters and can provide you with a ‘near size’ alternative for most sizes. Other labels are cut digitally and require no cutter. If a cutter is required a basic rectangle or circle would cost less than £50.00.
4.Actual Labels – this would be clearly detailed on the quote for the quantity required.
5.Delivery – labels will be dispatched within 3-5 days unless required more urgently. Cost is £10.00 unless an alternative has been agreed.
