With pubs able to open on the 4th July under social distancing guidelines we will once again be able to order a pint, sparkling wine or Gin and Tonic in England.

Not everything will be business as usual though… You won’t be able to walk up to the bar and order drinks but instead will need to more than likely use an app. The app will allow you to order drinks to your table but will also need to collect contact tracing data from yourself and the people you are with.

App developers are rushing to develop the most popular app for businesses and customers to use. Some of the simpler apps will allow you to scan a QR code at a table taking you to an online entry where you must enter your details and the details of anyone with you as part of a contact tracing measure. Once this has been completed the app will then allow you to order your drinks to the table.

At Custom Labels we have over 20 years of producing QR and Barcoded labels for all environments in a variety of materials and adhesives to suit, using any supplied or created database.
